Before joining our Hive family, Ben worked as a physiotherapist and a pastor. He's a dad to four mighty boys – Isaiah, Ezra, Eli and Owen, and considers himself one of the lucky ones with red hair.

Happy Places

Ben enjoys hanging out with his best friend, Ariel (who also happens to be his beautiful wife) and going snowboarding. He loves singing and playing music – any instrument will do!

Passions

Knowing God, seeing his wife and kids when he gets home from work and playing sport are what make Ben come alive.

If Ben could be a tree or plant, what would he be and why?

A walnut tree because its wood is highly-prized by woodworkers for its strength and durability, fine and tight grain, along with its gorgeous shades of colour. It's a majestic tree, growing up to 25 metres and has a lifespan of up to 300 years. It can take up to 25 years to produce its first nuts. But you'll have walnuts for the rest of your life! We can learn so much about patience and perseverance from trees.
