James loves to op shop. There’s something satisfying about getting a good bargain for things that can use a second life. When someone else’s ‘trash’ becomes our ‘treasure’, we can help reduce waste collectively. He's found many cool clothes for himself shopping this way.

Happy Places

Hitting the waves and going camping. Lorne would have to be one of his favourite destinations because it’s so pretty – it has waterfalls and swimming holes to explore, and some great spots for surfing, too. 

Passions

Cars! Four-wheel-driving, to be specific. Once, James got stuck on a hill with his girlfriend for 4 hours in the rain during their first camping trip together. He likes working on cars, too. He much prefers to put mods on but these days, he's usually fixing one thing or another.

If James could be a tree or plant, what would he be and why?

A Golden Elm because he likes the fresh lime-green colour of its leaves in summer and the way it shows off in autumn with its bright golden hues. Besides providing good shade during those hot summer days, mature Golden Elms develop wide and naturally rounded canopies, which makes them a highly attractive tree.
